Can I attend a Toastmasters meeting?

Yes! Toastmasters is a public, not-for-profit organisation. You can simply show up to any of our meetings as a guest. We ask guests to pay a small €7 admission fee fee to help cover the cost of the room.

Are guests expected to speak during the meeting?

No, as a guest you will not be required to speak during the meeting, so you can sit back, relax and listen. However, if you feel like speaking, there will be a chance to during the first part of the meeting (topics session). But the flashlight will never be shone in your face! In any case observe, learn and enjoy the experience.


Do you have a dress code?

No, we do not have a dress code. If a speaker wishes to dress up for a presentation, they are more than welcome to, but it is completely at the speaker's discretion.


How does Toastmasters work?

Toastmasters is a not-for-profit organisation where we give members the chance to speak in front of an audience, so they can improve their public speaking. After their speech, members will be given an evaluation by an advanced member so they can improve.


Does Toastmasters offer public speaking courses?

Toastmasters simply offers membership where members can speak in front of an audience and gain valuable stage experience and receive valuable feedback to help them improve.


How often are our meetings?

Our meetings are held every second Tuesday at 7 PM sharp.

Who can benefit from Toastmasters?

Whether you deliver presentations in work, you are an aspiring actor or singer, if you work with the public or you simply want to improve your public speaking for confidence! Anyone and everyone can benefit and learn from Toastmasters.


Can I join Toastmasters as a member?

Yes, you can join Toastmasters! We recommend that you come along to one of our meeting as a guest and see how the meetings work. During the meeting you can talk to some of our current members as well as our President and then we can discuss membership and if there are any open slots.
